Focusing on ‘Sustainable Aviation and Future Technologies’, the conference received keynote speeches from Sir Stephen Hillier, Chair, CAA, and Katherine Bennett CBE, Chief Executive at the High Value Manufacturing Catapult.
The conference addressed the impact on the industry and environment of hydrogen-powered and battery-powered electric aircraft, assessed the influence future technologies will have on the operational efficiencies in air traffic control and changes with the regulatory bodies, and covered the infrastructure requirements for introducing zero emission aircraft into airports.
